Entry 1
I woke up in the Chudleyton area, disoriented. I had no idea how I got here, but here I was and I was scared. I knew nothing except my name was Foobarosa and I was wearing a flak jackat and had a holtered pistol. The streets were empty all around, completely deserted.
I walked around a few blocks, trying to get into several buildings, but they were all boarded up very tightly — I couldn't get in.
Then I noticed the bodies. Here and there, a dead body lying on the ground. Exposed, rotting flesh. The stench was horrific.
I saw a flare shoot up a few blocks away, but I was too scared to go and see who fired it. What could I do, anyway? I didn't really know where I was, or how I got there. I had a gun with a few bullets, but I'm not very good with guns.
I heard a bone-chilling groan off in the distance. It made the hair on my neck stand up. I did not want to know what was making that noise.
Then, I saw one of them. One of those… things. It was a dead person, but standing. It just stood there, slightly swaying back and forth on its legs. Its clothes were encrusted with blood and dirt. Its teeth and jaw bone where exposed where the flesh had been ripped away.
Repulsed and horrified, I pulled my pistol and fired. I'm not a very good shot, but I fired every bullet I had. Miss, Miss, HIT! I hit the creature solidly in the chest, but it just stood there, looking at me with its dead eyes, taunting me. I hit it again, to no effect, before I ran out of bullets. It just stood there, unfazed. The undead creature seemed unaffected by bullets.
I left it where it stood.
Not wanting to come across one those … things … again, I tried to find a place to hide for the night. Block after block, building after building I tried, but I couldn't get into any of them. Was I going to be forced to stay outside all night?
Finally, I manged to get inside Lasbury Cinema. I searched around for a while, hoping to find something useful, but there was nothing. Scared, tired and frustratred, I settled down and hid for the night.
